In Sfakia there exists about fifty walks of different levels, some are easy, some for trekkers,and some only for experienced mountaineers.None of the paths are paved so you need to have good footwear.Never forget about the heat and having suficient water supplies.

Some walks around the area include the famous E4 which leads from Kastelli to Kato Zakros  going through the south coast of Crete.
